Chris Bailey
President
Mr. Bailey has the honor of leading two talented teams as the President of both The Seafood Platform and New England Cold Storage, a public freezer warehouse company.
In 2019, Bailey and partners Rob Chamberlain and Jeff Eklund recognized the need for a quality cold storage operator in the northeastern US, and developed their first warehouse in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, opening for business in 2022. Now partnering New England Cold with Marco Lim and his decades of experience in the international seafood industry, Chris sees The Seafood Platform as uniquely qualified to service the needs of seafood producers and buyers across the United States and the world.
Chris’ professional experience includes commercial real estate, marketing, and a previous life as a Broadway performer. Today, he is focused on maintaining a company culture of Honesty, Respect, Hard Work, and Excellent Customer Service.
Marco Lim
Vice President of International Operations
Marco brings over thirty-five years of seafood industry experience with an in-depth knowledge of raw material acquisition for processors, restaurant chains, retailers and wholesale distributers. He has spent decades visting and overseeing fishing operations, seafood farms, and packing plants all over the globe, most extensively in Central/South America and Asia.
Marco focuses on listening and learning from clients’ needs to cultivate valuable relationships and now utilizes his knowledge in the cold chain, transportation, and logistics industries.
As co-founder and co-owner of The Seafood Platform, Marco is committed to helping small-to-medium-sized seafood farmers, packers, and exporters flourish in US markets.
